⚙️ Technology

Olivia Pederson: Founder & CEO

Olivia is a seasoned creative and sustainability expert on a mission to use her expertise in human-centered design, systems thinking, carbon accounting, and behavioral science as a means to build an innovative solution to contribute to solving the climate crisis.

She has over 10 years of experience managing and designing digital experiences and consumer technology. Sustaio was the brainchild of her Master of Arts in Sustainable Design thesis research; this study aimed to quantify a personal comprehensive climate footprint and identify what behavioral practices need to be established to help the majority change habits to reduce our collective impact.

🏢 Why Now?

78% of US consumers say that a sustainable lifestyle is important to them. Meanwhile, the brands these consumers shop with are scrambling to meet their 2030 net-zero promises.

At Sustaio, they’ve created a way for companies to build loyalty and grow revenue through a carbon rewards program.

The voluntary carbon market is projected to be $50 billion by 2030 and at Sustaio, they have minted a new way for companies to reduce their carbon while engaging and growing their customer base.

✨ How Can the Community Help? âś¨

  • Investors: Sustaio is currently fundraising to fuel their growth

  • Partnerships: If you know a sustainable brand that should be on the rewards marketplace, they are currently onboarding their next cohort of reward partners

  • Customers - Sustaio 2.0 is live and ready for use. Go sign up to start earning today—it’s free!
